This acquisition was the means chosen by Cordon Group to combine the expertise of its various teams in the service of its customers, to accelerate its development worldwide and to access new business.

The history of SBE in brief
Creation
SBE was founded in France in 1987 as a specialist repairer of telephone terminals and switchboard systems. The 67 people who founded SBE came from the giant electronics and telecoms equipment manufacturer CGCT.
Telecom market
SBE enters the GSM market with customers such as Motorola, Siemens and Sony.
One of the keys to the company’s success will be to innovate by applying to the after-sales sector the methods and industrial dimension derived from its corporate culture and its origins as an equipment manufacturer.
Diversification of products processed
SBE is a key partner for manufacturers of electronic and high-tech equipment, providing after-sales services for a growing range of products – from set-top boxes to televisions, from small electrical appliances to medical equipment.
Demarq online & iWorld service
Demarq-Online is a French brand specialising in the sale of high-tech products at discount prices online and in shops. SBE also operates Apple Authorised Centres in Europe under the iWorld Service brand.
GlobalCare
GlobalCare is SaaS software designed to support the digital transformation of our partners’ customer service, with innovative solutions for managing after-sales service, returns logistics and business processes.
International expansion
SBE has become one of the largest independent repair groups in Europe, with almost 1,200 employees and a presence in 6 countries.
Acquisition by Cordon Group
Officially signed on 1 July 2023, this new acquisition is a real growth driver for Cordon Group, which has now become a leading global player in the field of the circular economy applied to electronics.
