As part of our strategic plan to reduce carbon emissions, we wanted to be able to benefit from a less polluting and more sustainable source of energy, and thus contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Increasing our use of renewable energy is one of the 14 commitments in our CSR policy.
“By 2025, our target is to reduce our carbon emissions by 35% in relation to the energy we use to heat our buildings and operate our plants. With this biomethane offer, we are proud to be able to contribute to a 28% reduction in these emissions by 2022,” says Anne Lucas, our CSR manager.
